Founded in 1993, thanks to the success gained in the field from 1987 on by the Studio Polidori firm, Polidori Consulting is specialised in providing management consulting to banks and investment firms on legal questions regarding financial markets, structures of organisation and control and the establishment of internal and auditing procedures.

The Company has managed the establishment, authorisation and organisation of numerous investment companies, Sgrs, banks, Sicavs and open and closed mutual funds, both in Italy and abroad, as well as networks of promoters.

Within the investment and placement business, Polidori Consulting has worked on projects geared towards the listing of companies on stock markets and the placement of debenture bonds, mutual funds, Sicavs, trust funds, both Italian and of other EU countries.

Polidori Consulting provides ongoing legal-corporate and technical-organisational consulting primarily to banks, investment companies, Sgrs and financial enterprises; it also engages it outsourcing assignments involving internal auditing, compliance and risk management. At present, for the sole consultancy activity, it works under contract with five Banks, most of which belong to leading Italian and foreign banking groups, plus three investment companies, a Sgr and four financial enterprises; it also has contracts for the performance of internal auditing at three brokerage houses and eight Sgrs; finally, it is under contract to carry out risk management activities for a Sgr. Since 1994, the Company produces and distributes software for the internal auditing and control of investment companies, Sgrs and banks. In the course of these projects, it also updates databanks containing legislation and rules issued by regulatory institutions. The Company operates out of its office in Rome. The activities of consulting, compliance, internal auditing and risk management are carried out by Fausto and Fabio Polidori, aided by a staff of four full-time employees.
